...that I'm not the only nerd in the world looking forward to the new ST MMORPG (Star Trek Online)?
I saw some good concept art in GameInformer, and read that Probert is leading the design influences.

Please tell me you're the only one that hasn't heard that it's dead already?

Dead or turned for to another developer (which has the possibility of meaning the same thing)?
Edit: TrekMovie.com indicated Cryptic Studios had picked it up for development. Posted by Ritten (Member # 417) on :
Nope, I'd be the other person, so 808 isn't the only one, just half of the only two.

I didn't realise till a couple of days when I went to the STO fansite, and saw it'd been taken down. Hopefully if/when Cryptic take over the game, they'll revamp the graphics. As the few screen shots I saw were a crap.

Well at least the concept art looked imaginative. I would have loved to see that one map which had planets surrounded by these metallic structures rendered in game.

I don't know dude, that looks pretty solid to me. At least for an MMORPG.

Well that looks ok. It's a moot point now but I thought that they had cancelled the idea that you'd be able to walk around the ship. I was thinking of the screenshot of the space scene, as it looked a little cartoony for this day and age.
