So, we know that Daniel is a "could-be" human (he said he's human "more or less") from the 31 century where Earth somehow doesn't exist anymore.

We're not sure if Daniel is from Starfleet or not, but he does belong to a organization to uphold some sort of "temporal prime directive".

He got some really neat tools, one of which allow him to travel through solid object (sort of like phase cloak in that TNG ep.)

I suspect the "leader" from alien religious cult (they were guests on Enterprise) is somehow tied-in to the temporal cold war (they keep on zooming in on him showing that he's planning on something...)

Also, the gift from the cult leader to Archer could be some sort of a tool or device (they keep on zooming on that too).

Anyway, I think over all, this is the best ep. ever singe the premier, that's my two cents.
