Apparently some restoration team has bought for $60,000, according to TrekMovie. Let's see how well this goes.

It makes you wonder how much of the original will be left by the end, or even how much of the original was left after its last restoration.
It looks like it's finally in good hands now, though, and won't be going missing again anytime soon.
