I might watch these elite commando teams, especially if Pete Rose and Turd Ferguson are on board.

Phase rifle, anyone?

Posted by Mark Nguyen (Member # 469) on :

That, or the fancy goop-sploopers from Ghostbusters 2. [Wink] I certainly hope they're new props, and not MORE re-dresses of the ole' Hunter rifle from DS9 (or the EVA Rifle from FC, which is what they seem to look like as well). I further hope that they'll eventually replace the rifles currently in use - but with a transition period. Inasmuch as the current US military can have different main weapons for their troops (or special forces, or whatever), I hope that there can be some crossover here. The gang on DS9 kept 'em separate enough for the most part, not only between Starfleet and Bajorans, but within the Fleet ranks as well.

hey, is the logo any different.. how is the 'star trek' written?

Posted by Aban Rune (Member # 226) on :

I, for one, have been writing "Star Trek: Enterprise: on my tapes of the show all along. Does that make me a prophet or something?

No?

Ok.

It means you've been wasting precious ink that could have gone to the poor children.

Posted by Cartmaniac (Member # 256) on :

But he doesn't have to retroactively relabel his tapes, at least. B)

Posted by PsyLiam (Member # 73) on :

Pft. I coped just fine with "TNG", "DS9", and "Shite" written on my Next Generation, Deep Space 9 and Voyager tapes respectively, and I managed to avoid confusion.

I think I read somewhere, that they were thinking of putting Star Trek in the name, but it was never confirmed.

Looks like the Jem'Hadar guns might be on the way out. . .

Posted by Harry (Member # 265) on :

But despite the upcoming soldiers, a new (semi-)regular spacebabe (McKenzie), new guns and new spandex, the promo didn't have the usual over-enthusiastic voiceover, but a rather emotional and angry Archer, speaking directly into the camera. So perhaps it hasn't completely degenerated to a cheap action series (T'Pol: Warrior Princess?) yet.

More thingies. First.. new bridge lighting? Or it could be something insignificant, since the entire picture is a cut 'n' paste job. And T'Pol wears a red uniform. Yummy.

Posted by Spike (Member # 322) on :

Well, that looks a lot better than the baby-blue one.

Posted by Mark Nguyen (Member # 469) on :

Both will evolve into the TOS miniskirt, starting with the episode T'pol shows up to work without any pants.

As for the lighting, it's probably just a mood thing. More than a few of the previous series' cast shots had mood lighting.

I wonder why they bothered making a lousy cut 'n' paste 'cast photo'. Apart from red T'Pol, it's just an awkward rehash of old publicity shots.

Please prove it. [Smile]

Considering that the shadow on Sam Beckett's head and, say, Merry Weather's head are on opposite sides, I'd say that they either:

have a magic light source

or

cut and pasxx0r3d

Posted by Aban Rune (Member # 226) on :

That's definitly a cut and paste job. And not a very good one.

Though, I do notice that Archer's still got his collar unbuttoned, like he did in the season finale. I think we'll be seeing this alot as an ever-so-subtle hint that he's throwing protocol out the window and becoming rebel.

Gallery of Season 3 looks. Archer looks like he's become the vengeful hero. I'm glad to see Phlox still being his optimistic and slightly weird self.

Actually, the new T'Pol uniform is pretty good. It does have the brightness and sexiness of TOS. Now give Hoshi something more attractive [Wink]

Hmm, who's that guy on pic 6 and 7? Is that one of the new additions to the cast?

SAM BACKETT SI BATMAN!1one!1one!

Is anyone else having problems with the Startrek.com site? I can't access it, let alone the pictures. Are they avaiable somewhere else by chance?

At times but usually its just the glitches in my own computer

I still cant get the damn 'library' slider to work to access it, and I have updated my flash player and related programs so many times... [Mad]

LOLOL!1one!1one!

I think we have seen the birth of something truly brilliant and yet frightening.

Posted by Harry (Member # 265) on :

STARTREK.COM regularly times out. My bet is that the new layout is just WAY to heavy, and it exceeds it's bandwith.

New promo. It's edited really really fast, and the only thing I can remember of it are T'Pol's boobs. And it seems like it *is* called "Star Trek: Enterprise". I think it might be very likely we get a totally new intro next season.
