OK, this picture is a worry - I found it while surfing the web - and I don't know if its doctored or not...

Copy link location - its a Xoom picture.

It looks like a four digit number to me - but maybe something happened during the screen grab to muck up the first or last number?

There is too much space between NCC and the number. The - is most probably part of a 7, because then it will make 71201, and that is the rego of the Nebula Class USS Prometheus.

I recognise that scene from "Second Sight," actually. Although a four-digit registry would be nice to annoy everyone who insists on a coherent registry system.
