I just read some comments on the Voyager thread about the Aerowing shuttle making a possible appearance next season and the name Delta Clipper being used. As I reported at the beginning of the season, friends of mine took a trip to Paramount studios last summer and got the chance to talk to Mike Okuda on one of the sets. He showed them some blueprints of stuff they were working on. One showed a shuttlelike craft called the Delta Clipper. At time I thought this craft would make its appearance fairly early in the season if they were already working on it. Well as the season progressed I began to feel foolish for reporting this so-called "Delta Clipper" because the Delta Flyer continued going strong. It would be nice to see the Aerowing shuttle become the Delta Clipper.

I want to see the dropship too, but I hate the name Delta Clipper and they had better come up with a reason why the ship hasn't been used yet. I don't even care what the reason is (a good one would be that most of the systems were damaged in the trip to the DQ, so they canabalized it for parts and have just now gotten around to fixing it) but they better not just say, "Why don't we take the Dropship? Tom's decided to call her the 'Delta Clipper'." Like it's been available all this time.
