A while ago someone posted a top view of the apollo class, the nebularized ambassador version. i was wondering if some one has a side view of the ship as i am interested about making a model of it. Thanks in advance.

It's on our website.

A refined and more detailed side view is currently in the works, so watch this space.

Your Apollo, BTW, is your absolute master piece, Reverend. I may have forgotten to praise the work because I'm still not entirely convinced to drop the McQuarrie design. Anyway, with the your shading and colors you even outperform Mike's already superb work on the Ambassador.

Better tools Bernd, nothing more. [Big Grin]
I actually owe Mike some credit for the Apollo, since I based allot of what I did off of his Ambassador views, especially the window patterns!
I hate drawing windows, it's to tricky and tedious.

As far as the McQuarrie design goes, it's a good idea except the darn thing showed up in ST:III, which is just a little too early for the Apollo if you as me (although not impossible) and it was much larger than the current schematics suggest.

Oh, while I'm here I might aswell mention that the dorsal view you've posted is out of date.
I moved the phasers and added the floodlights, remember? [Wink]

Can I make a suggestion about the Apollo (that you'll probably ignore)... to make it a bit more 'technology unchained'/'retro'... instead of the 'pod' being connected via a central 'pylon'... why not give it the double pylon as seen on the Phoenix (The Wounded). It looks like an older design.

how would that really make it look like an older design? afterall, the Nebula class in any iteration is newer than the Apollo. for all we know, the Phoenix style ship was designed after the single pylon type. however, i think that a double pylon would look nice [Smile]

All good ideas in theory but there isn't enough substancial structure to support a double pylon assembly. Trust me, I tried it ages ago and it looks very naff.
Besides, the Apollo's pod isn't ment to be a single unit that can be swapped out, it's a fixed and very permanent structure although it's internal components are largely modular and easily customised for different mission profiles.
