i have a scan of the enterprise okudagram featuring a schematic of the ecs horizon but i cant use flare upload as i arent a senior member. if anyone wants it so they can host it to post here then reply (dont email me) and ill send you it. i think most people here would be interested to see it. it also has the ecs horizon patch too.

sorry forgot to say, its from the latest issue of the communicator. MIM its on its way as we speak.

Cute graphics! I like the subtly added primary colors, a nice TOSsy touch.

The concept of "sensor shields" is intriguing - is it really until the Nebula class that we get a ship design where the big sensor/deflector dish sits right next to warp nacelles, unprotected?

Where are the main impulse engines on this ship? The thrusters at the end of the container train are labeled "secondary"...

Heh.. it actually looks like something you might find in the Spaceflight Chronology.

I assume the "main" thrusters are the ones on the ship proper.

Sensor shields.. shielding the sensor array from the nacelles? And hey.. this ship has the characteristal TOS confusion between deflector dish and sensor array [Smile]

GNDN! First time I've seen this acronym pop up outside TOS [Smile]

"Earth Cargo Service" vs. "Earth Cargo Authority"?

Any chance of scanning the entire article? The text sounds at least as interesting. Is this magazine now the only channel left for official schematics?

Presumably, the Authority is the presiding regulatory body of the Service.
