Check out all the TOS/TAS/FJ ships: the TAS cargo ship, Saladin, Coronado....lotsa goodies.
Even lit shuttlebays. [Eek!]

That Loknar-class ISS Terror would be my favorite TOS design ever.

Daaaaaaaaaamn.

I looked through all the pictures on my work connection... that thing is just friggin' incredible.

Fan builds like that one are almost enough to convince me that TOS should be remade. Almost.

It's enough to make me believe that Enterprise could've been made convincingly using a more TOS-style look. I mean cripes... if I saw that station on tv I'd wet myself... it's bleedin' awesome!

Looks kinda stupid with all those docks. It would look better with just two.

Seams as though they had the same idea as myself, at least from a configuration point of view. Although my station was on a much larger scale.

I really like how they aged it so it looks significantly older than the docked ships and the style is very reminiscent of the space station depicted in Picard's quarters, which is a nice touch.
My only complaint is the use of 1950's b-movie style flying saucer...but I suppose modellers have to work with what's available. [Wink]

Part of the idea was to keep the station's cost cheap and the parts they used were almost all bought from a local Dollar Store.

The C57 saucer is a pretty good choice for the main hull, I think.

I tend to like the station with only two or three shipdocks but hey, the model's modular, so anything goes.

It's definitely food for thought as I plan my own smaller dock-station (though mine will be of DS9 vintage, of course).

Hmm, I suddenly don't feel like so much of a Trek geek anymore....

We're all geeks here!
Be proud of your geekiness.

I made a very small contribution to this. Joe Brown built USS Huron from my schematics.

Sweet: Joe's stuff is top-notch.

He mentioned wanting to make a kit of Huron one of these days.

It's sell really well, i imagine.
a lot of people bought the Loknar Conversion and like the Polar loghts kit/scale.
