I very much like it. It looks exactly what a Starfleet vessel of that era should look like. At least in my book. No cut-outs, no weird shapes, no gimmicks, no rollercoaster turbolifts. [Big Grin]

Surprisingly enough, I don't hate it.

What's that uppermost gold model, though? Some sort of Abramsverse version of the Constellation?

You knoew, I love Bill's work, I do.....but these are still ugly as fuck, & I hate this themed name/number/layout shtick.

Kurtzman production is all over the fucking place. Remember when we had unified concepts?

I’m not a fan of the nacelle struts and their mount to the hull, but overall I like the style. And the bridge was awesome.

Terry Matalas says the ship we saw was the *same* Stargazer from TNG with a TMP-style Ship of Theseus refit. Thankfully the dedication plaque says otherwise, because though I can appreciate the sentiment, that’s technologically a ridiculous idea.

That pre-TOS (?) Stargazer looks interesting. Better than every single ship we saw in the first two seasons of Discovery.

Yeah, I think that might've been why they threw in that "not THIS Stargazer" line. And agreed re: comprison to Disco TOS ships.

I believe my reaction to the revelation that all Stargazers have been four-nacelles can be summed up by my Tweet about it including the Deadpool “That’s just lazy writing” GIF.

Well, if you think about it all Enterprises were of the same configuration.

Okay, until I saw the image of the ships standing up on their nacelles, I didn't realize that the new one's nacelles aren't in the same position, front-to-back. I like it a bit less for that.

Ok. Correction. Bill Krause didn’t design apparently.
