After seeing some of the cool kitbash made starships from Fabrux I decided to make my own. Here's my first, be gentle. I named it in honor of DeForest Kelly, and his character in Star Trek.

"I will do no harm"

Class: DeForest
Type: Medical transport
Ships of class:
USS DeForest NCC-75750
USS McCoy NCC-75992
Length: 360 meters
Height: 167 meters
Beam: 319 meters
Accommodation: 450 officers and crew
Mass: 3,500,000 metric tons
Maximum warp speed: 9.5
Tactical systems: Two Type-9 phaser arrays; One torpedo launcher

The DeForest-class starship was designed to be a high-speed medical transport ship providing aid to causalities in battle during the Dominion war. Other missions include medical service to Federation worlds, such as transporting badly needed vaccines. The first ship of this class was launched in 2375, with its sister ship the McCoy, named in honor of Admiral McCoy, launched only months later.

The crew comprises of 172 Starfleet officers who are responsible for ship operations such as command, engineering, and maintenance. A larger number of crew is the 278 doctors, nurses and medical specialist. While most of the large medical staff are Starfleet physicians, there are also civilians as well.

Not designed for battle, the DeForest is minimally armed which are used for defensive purposes only. However DeForest-class ships have very powerful shields and hull armor. Because they would usually operate within the safety of Federation space, weapons are not necessary. When entering a potentially dangerous area, they are usually escorted by a Defiant or Saber-class starship.

Glad you like it. Two things though, first, there's already a side view. Second, it's a kitbash, any other views would have to be drawn by hand.

If anyone has any questions about it, I'll try to answer them.
