Behold, one more thing I shouldn't have been doing at work....

Created in Photoshop. I guessing a crew of about 100. Smaller than Voyager, but not alot smaller.

One little thing I notice that you might want to fix. Since you have two shuttlebays, the side view should have a bar on it to show that there is a seperated shuttlebay. Get what I'm saying?

I think I see what you mean. The orthographics, again, are not perfect. I think the thick outer line sort of fills in the end of the shuttle bay door because it's so close to where the detail disappears on the "horizon" as the ship wraps around. It's not perfect.

Very cool. When rendered, I'm sure it would look more "mean" than "cute", as it has been called above.

Do you have a site with more ships similar to this? Your artwork is superb, very professional.

Actually, it DOES remind me of Khruschev a bit. Fat, portly, round, with a overall sense of jolly communist glee.

I was wondering when people were going to get that

Hobbes gets the prize.

I love that show and I'm sad it's over. Sadly, I have no more ships. There's another thread further down with two others, and I have a couple I haven't cleaned up yet, but that's it.

And thanks for the compliment

I think it's a sexy ship. You should be proud. Hey -- name like that, it's GOTTA be sexy.

The show didn't catch a heartbeat of the original movie. I preferred The Pretender. At least there they had secrets, even if they ended up throwing it all away...

You want "heartbeat" of the movie?

Go watch "The Professional."

Ahhhh ... gotta love Italian hit men in New York who drink milk!!!

Yeah, and he was in Nikita too, you know. Scary guy, Reno. Melting halfdead people in bathtubs with industrial acid... I'd like to see pretty boy toy Roy Dupuis take care of that.

I loved La Femme Nikita. The mystery and action was great. Example we never knew where Section 1 was located, finally they showed it in Paris, then it blew it up. Like how Micheal could shoot a roomful of terrorists up without breaking a sweat.

My sister has been watching the reruns this past year -- I sat down to watch a few with her, and got hooked right away. Unfortunately, I don't have a TV of my own at college. *sigh* Oh well.

Great show, though... and yes, I got the reference too, as soon as I read the title. (Though I just looked into this forum now, so obviously others beat me to it.)

Very cool. I like the starboard elevation a lot. Erm, are you going to do something about the bridge though? It seems to be on an angle.

Posted by Masao (Member # 232) on :

I like it, except for the fat butt on the top view. Having a single shuttle bay would make that secondary hull end in a more elegant way. Something else you might do it to narrow the primary hull into a Voyager-like point. At least that's what I expecting when I saw the bridge on that ridge extending from the secondary hull. Just some ideas.

I guess you could always argue that with gravity plating, bing on an angle wouldn't matter I had just figured that the decks would look similar to a house that is built on a hill. The floors are still flat, but you've got a wedge in there somehow...

Re: the show whense these names were derived...I love the new character, Quinn. I mean I am totally in love with this woman!!

The whole feel of the show is great, though it had more varying technology than Star Trek...

Didn't think about the tail of the ship, it does look like one butt.
