Hi friends !
Somebody knows who built these meshes ? I would like to have a copy of them. If somebody knows how to contact the builders, please, let me know.

Apollo Class http://www.bravofleet.net/avalon/starship-apollo.htm
Denmark Class http://www.bravofleet.net/avalon/starship-denmark.htm
Kelvin Class http://www.bravofleet.net/avalon/starship-kelvin.html
Vector Class http://www.bravofleet.net/avalon/starship-vector.htm

Thanks for any help,

I don't know about the last three ships, but I do have information about that Apollo class mesh backed up somewhere. I'll see what I can find on my computer.

I find them rather unimaginative, relying on simply kitbashing existing designs. As for the Apollo it is disturbingly similar to my and Reverend's Apollo - that which was posted here recently. I don't know... Reverend may have words to say about this.

Actually, Red, don't get too mad about that...I had downloaded these Apollo meshes several years ago. I also have a side view of the stylized artwork ship (the side view in that link is something I haven't seen before; looks like it was cut-&-pasted from Sci-fi Art's Ambassador mesh). They're nothing new, and I'd be willing to bet that the similarity between that design and yours is just coincidence.

The Apollo is from the old Wolfpack359 group. The Vector looks straight from the Starship Creator game. As for the other two, I have no idea.

Thanks Dukhat. Youre right about the side view. Isnt the mesh showed in the other pics of that page. The side view is just a copy & paste of several meshes.
About the Apollo, you still have that mesh ? Could you share it ?
Regards,

Ok, that's no problem. Being independent designs it's interesting how similar they are - proves great minds think alike [Wink]

Well, I mean, it's a nebulacized Ambassador. How many permutations of that can you have?

I don't think it was the nebularized design that was in question...just that someone else thought the Apollo class would be of that design. I mean it's not like anyone's had any clues as to what the design should really look like, other than by going with the registry numbers for the known ships.

Er. In the last image on the Apollo page, the picture is reversed. The NCC is clearly visible backwards.

*goes back to sleep*

I must say that is spooky...ours of course, is much much better. [Wink]

Having said that of course I like where they put the impulse engines on this one...I just might thieve that....
