Does anyone know if there were any star maps shown in TOS other than the Romulan Neutral Zone one from 'Balance of Terror'?

I'm finally getting around to drawing the map for the long-promised 'You're the Commodore...' scenario.

Not that I know off. Unless you count the generic starry things above the consoles. And perhaps the astrogator had some generic stars on it?

I did one a while back, based on the TOS-style computer panels that Reverend did for his TOS-Antares schematics. I wanted something a bit more colorful than those bland black and grey things, you know?

That's not a finished product -- I ended up using solid-color icons for the ships, and so forth, make it a *little* simpler... I'm still thinking about making a more varied side bar, though.

Hmm, I thought some of that looked familiar [Wink]

What I would do is to take all the ship silhouettes off of the map, put bracketed dots and NCC numbers where the ships used to be and fill up that side column with the ship listings, done in order of class and affiliation...but that's just me. [Razz]

Mabye update it with key planet positions and nebulas too!

I think the three-screen viewer in the Briefing Room often featured some sort of a maplike graphic, with orange lines on black. It looked like a network of randomly connected, labeled dots, or what you'd expect of either a map of constellations or a map of spacelanes.

Anybody have caps or other sources to this graphic?
