Are there any actual images of these classes of Federation Scout or is it a figment of fandom? I've seen one image that claims to be a Tuverlind that looked like a pre-TOS version of the USS Challenger. (saucer and 4 nacelles.) I'm planning to do some 3d models of these classes, and I'm trying to find a starting point. The Podish would be NCC-310, and the Tuverlind was NCC-341.
Thanks!

I don't know if any images turn up, though.

Nope, most of the hits that did come up under Google were for James Dixon's Chronology in one form or another.
He qouted the Detroyat Class Heavy DD deck plans as a source, so I'm doing a google search on that class as well.
Thanks!

The only hits I got for a Tuverlind-class are this class chart and this side view. I got no images whatsoever for Podish-class starships. The Ship Schematic Database doesn't have anything on them in it's scout section, either.

It was supposed to be two of the classes that mounted the PB-25 warp nacelles that were known for high accelleration between warp factors but lousy reliability. Since most of the scout classes seem to be single nacelle designs, I'm leaning toward doing something like a cross between a Saladin and a Ptolemy Tug.
I'll have to research some of the other scout/ superscout clases and see what trends there are.
Thanks, Siegfried!

Does anybody know whether the registry numbers for those two classes come from the Detroyat plans, or are a later addition?
