I've seen this many a time on TV, and I think its really good for a show on the frontier of computer generated images...what do you guys think?

Was this not the first movie that used computer generated special effects for the space scenes? In that respect it was a good show, although the computer effects from that era looked quite bad compared to effects done with models.

It was one of the first to make extensive use of CGI. I've always felt what B5's Starfuries could use was a "Death Blossom" function, although it would probably squash the pilot under all the G-forces.
