They just started Dark Angel here. I'm really looking forward to seeing this series. And don't spare me the spoilers, I love to hear about the latest stuff.

Mostly, there's a lot of Jessica Alba going around on a motorcycle, trying not to have sex with her partner, looking hot, and kicking a bunch of people's butts.

There are a couple of good story lines going on, though...

I gave up on it after the pilot. I stopped watching a show which was mainly about a cute babe wearing black leather. So, be warned, Enterprise!

idea."

I watch and like Dark Angel. And I thought the finale was pretty good. Nana Visitor as the bad guy seems to be working nicely, too.

I can't wait to see what happens. Logan and Lydecker don't know she's still alive, and I doubt Manticore will be able to reprogram her like Bryn, so she'll probably get out somehow...

Fabrux (et al)
The character seem sto be loosely-based on Heinlein's Friday (genetically enhanced, would sleep with a bulldozer).

Since when would Max sleep with a bulldozer? As I recall, the only time she actually does sleep with anyone is when she's in heat, which is kinda understandable.

Nan Visitor once played the bad guy in an episode of Knight Rider. She's definitely improved her villian characterization since the mid-1980's.

I just watched the finale, and I definately didn't expect it to end the way it did.

I'm also glad it was picked up for another season by Fox. I think they could work a little harder on the storylines, but other wise it's not bad. Besides, what else is there to watch on Fox?? Alley McBeal...agh. Well except for The X-Files, Simpsons, and Futurama.

A bit off-topic: Chris Carter seems to have no luck keeping series on Fox. Millenium lasted longer, than the others aside from X-Files. Harsh Realm cancelled after 3 episodes. And now The Lone Gunmen after it's just a couple months.

Well Fox decided to look for instant hits like Dark Angel instead of the way X-Files was kept on to create a loyal viewing audience.

And I didn't expect the finale to end like that...Looks like this is the last time Zach will interfere with Max and Logan.

The finale was, um, brilliant. The final fifteen minutes made me commit to watching the show every week next year. Echevarria is god. I mean, if Trek could do cliffhangers like that I dunno if anyone would ever criticize the producers.

Speeking of cliffhangers, I finally got around to watching the Andromeda season finale. Talk about your major cliffhangers!

Dude, I am SOOO happy there's a Dark Angel forum here. There's plenty at the official site, but there are SO many that it's impossible to care. And they're so repetitive.

Nana Visitor is fantastic on Dark Angel. The white hair's a little odd, but I think it works for her. I was so happy to see her gainfully employed! (Where are the rest of the cast of TNG and DS9, and now Voyager, I suppose??!)

Ok, so the show is mainly a showcase for Jessica Alba. Even as a girl, I can see why. She is very pretty. (Though some people I know complain that her lips are too big. I didn't realize that was an issue.) At least her acting doesn't suck. And the plotlines are interesting, though they certainly do have some loopholes.

By the way, there was lots of talk about Max being similar to Friday, and as I've never heard of Friday before this, I have no idea. But I did know about {Battle Angel} Alita, a Japanese manga series. (It's awesome!) And Max is quite similar to Alita in many ways. I guess the idea of a superhuman (essentially) female occurred to a lot of people. (And naturally it would. )

WOW in regards to the finale. It was fantastic. (I don't like the robotic legs that Logan uses, but whatever, he's happy.) I was so sad when Tinga died. AND ZACH! Ack, I always want to dislike him, then he goes and does something nice. I mean, he was being a jerk about Max and Logan getting together, hen he went and martyred himself!

And oh was Nana Visitor creepy when she talked to Max in the end (about the heart and whatnot).

Anyone notice that Kendra just disappeared from the show (yes, I know she went to live with the cop)?
