What was that?

No, really.

So everything's Kent-related has gone straight to hell. Clark's been reprogrammed, Jonathan's braindead. Solution? Black kryptonite that NOBODY has heard of before comes out of nowhere and fixes it all for no apparent reason.

Who the hell wrote that, and how did they escape from the Andromeda writing pool?

The rest of the ep was reasonably okay. The portrail of Lois is very Lois. Lana's in Paris still, met a new guy WAY too soon after Clark and proceeded to act out the same scene with him that I saw in an ep of Stargate last year. But maybe they're fans. Odd things are happening to her, and if that shrine was where one of the Kryptonian artifacts is located it will be way too much of a coincidence to swallow. Lex is dealing with the consequences of being poisoned, and trying to hunt down three artifacts needed to find some repository of knowledge. Would've been nice to have that planted before now, but that's probably too much to ask. Lionel is still in prison, though I'm not sure how he's supposed to walk free just because Chloe's not there to testify. They still have the recording, don't they? If they have that, why do they need Chloe? And speaking of Chloe, isn't it something of a jump from "Chloe's coffin is empty" to "Chloe's not dead"?

Some of it was good, but very little that didn't involve Luthors in some way.

So did Lois end up being Chloe's cousin that has been mentioned before in the series? I'm really not very current on the series, but I've picked up a few bits and pieces and I saw the finale.

I found it to be pretty damn boring. The Clark nudity was pointless and abrupt, and later on Kreuk's obvious body double had a pointless nude scene and a naked shower scene. WB is all about the nudity. Clark's revelation at the end was premature. Sure there was no body in the coffin, but she WAS supposedly in a giant fireball house explosion after all.

Mmmmm...Kristen Kreuk.

My brief encounters with the WB have exposed me to equally pointless psuedo-titilation. Such as the episode where a dreaming Clark goes skinny dipping with Lana and she's all slutariffic. As well as the episode where Clark first discovers his peek-into-lockerooms vision.
