Not much to say here, though I *do* intend on writing one shortly since it's pretty monumentous what happens here - much moreso than the ACTUAL series finale, which was written without them knowing there wouldn't be an 11th season.

-The Ori are dead. Merlin's doomahicker apparently worked! However all the followers of the Ori are still around and angry, so we'll have to deal with them first, presumably in the series finale.

-Baal's captured. He killed off (almost?) all his clones while he was at it, so he's just a snake in a jar. He tried to implant himself into Adria, thus gaining her powers and knowledge, and hoped to rule the forces of the Ori in this sense.

-Adria has ascended, so either she is busy being kicked up and down the higher plane of existence by the Ancients, or marshalling the forces of the Ori as a glowey white thing. Which we'll see in the first SG-1 movie, due out this fall.

-There were very cleverly hidden bits of stock footage in the episode. Among them, the shot of Baal's ship zipping off is from "Exodus", and the reverse angle shot of Carter blowing away the Jaffa is from way the hell back in "The Serpent's Lair" (the hallways are a dead giveaway).

-The guys in the tavern where Adria picks up Vala are for once brandishing FUTURISTIC ALIEN WEAPONS, which have been in short supply this year. The Lucian Alliance has been using completely undisguised human weapons, and the cowboys that showed up on Atlantis this year were using old west revolvers.

Well I just spoiled myself something chronic. Why do I do it!?!

I'm not sure, but I thought I saw Winona pointed at Vala's head in the bar. May have just be a similar looking pistol, but it was pretty close.

The gun in question has shown up beofre, and Farscape fans have concluded it's NOT Winona... It's a similar looking prop, probably from The Outer Limits or some other 90s production, that's rented from the local warehouse. One wonders why they don't do it more often.

Other cool stuff of note:

-The Tok'ra are back! Sorta. They conveniently show up after more than a year, with a Tok'ra symbiote and a guy who can swap it for the real Baal, who was implanted in Adria. Baal didn't take kindly to being evicted, and responded by releasing a toxin to kill her so NO ONE would win. Still though, he should maintain at least some of the memories of his last host. Assuming he gets implanted into someone else (who would volunteer? I suspect they'll reveal a final clone for his last appearance), he might have a lot to say about things. OTOH, he's rumoured not to appear in the first of the two SG-1 movies, that deals with the Ori. He'll be in the second, which is an independent adventure.

-The new CO of the Odyssey is Davidson, who was introduced the previous week in "Family Ties". Not much to say about him, other than that he's got a rather nasal voice. Unlike Atlantis, the starship commanders here have had a pretty short life expectancy, so we'll see how long he lasts.

-Cam wields the G36 again in this episode.

-SG-1 suggests that there may still be Baal clones out there... Why? Baal seemed to go out of his way to kill all the remaining clones, even recalling those that were still on Earth. And what about Athena? She was not among the corpses. Is she still on Earth handling Baal's local operation? Will the NID try to take her down now that Baal is supposedly out of the picture?
