Fabrux hasn't started a thread yet, so I thought I would.

First of all - the teaser for the next episode asserts that it is the "Heroes Finale." *deep breath* NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! DAMN YOU WGA!

Claire's blood made Suresh's antibodies 'stronger' so now they could fight the virus. I'm getting a nosebleed just thinking about how much fail is in that idea. I can't even...I mean how...Urgh.

So I guess Sylar will now try munching Alejandro's brain? ...if Maya doesn't ask why the hell he won't let her in his room when he goes back in to put a shirt on...

So, is Bob actually a good guy fer serius, and really trying to get the Company back to its ideals? Or what?

Anyway, I guess that's all I got.

I think Bob is a bureaucratic bad guy. This season is really feeling 'rushed'. They're going to need for Hiro to freeze time next week so they can pack enough story in to finish all those loose ends.

I just hope they mean *season* finale, and not *series* finale like it sounds like they mean. I swear to God if the series ends before we find out the powers of Pratt, Kaito, and the Petrellis, I'm going to go apeshit.

On Global, the trailer was tagged for the "season" finale, but on NBC it was just "finale". So, I don't know what to expect.

I love how, even with the threat of being zapped, Hiro charges Peter for all he's worth.... [Big Grin]

Yeah it sucks that this storyline is ending so quickly, especially since the episodes have grown in terms of quality.

Oh,man. Hiro vs. Peter never gets old.

Also, I'm loving the return of sadistic bastard Sylar. Not so much the advent of sadistic bastard Mohinder, but I suspect as soon as he learns who kept Sylar alive he's going to have another change of heart.

And dare I ask where the fuck MATT is through all this?

Posted by WizArtist II (Member # 1425) on :

I swear that Mohinder should learn to stop and ask himself "What would Mohinder do?" and then immediately do the EXACT OPPOSITE. Has he made a SINGLE decision that hasn't been a disaster?

Is Peter unaffected by "Time-Freeze" since he has absorbed Hiro's power? It looked like Hiro was surprised he wasn't statuefied.

Anyone get the feeling that Monica is about to "learn" some Bad Dude moves when Jessica shows up and goes all Wolverine on the little bangers?

Did Sylar give Alejandro a Cranial Sunroof or just kill him?

If Maya & Mohinder meet will it cause an automatic cancelling of their superability to make BAD choices? [Big Grin]

Can ANYONE (Other than Omega'a fiance') make as bad a choice as Maya with Sylar? (Couldn't resist a jab at the Big "O"....Sylar MADE me do it.)

Just how many people have MA & PA Petrelli offed?

Jessica's gone. It's Gina now. Although it's entirely possible they really *are* all gone, that the Company helped her de-fracture her personality. (After all, a psycho wouldn't be of as much use to them as a sane person - they probably learned that thoroughly through Elle.)

Edit: (Man I've got to give myself like 5 mins after I type a post before I actually hit submit...) About Matt, Sylar said that he 'convinced the babysitter to take the night off.' I thought that sounded rather ominously like he had killed Matt and stuffed him in a back room before letting Maya in.

Sylar doesn't have his brain-eating ability, though. I mean, he hasn't done any illusioning, for instance. (I assume he eats them, anyway, but take that as metaphorically as necessary.) He has to get his ill-defined see-how-things-work power first. Even then, I kind of hope he puts together his own brotherhood of evil mutants, since last season, as a simple predator, he just wasn't all that interesting, and the last attempt to give him some personality (the episode with his mom) didn't work, or at least not for me. He was essentially telling the truth in this one about what happened there, though, wasn't he? That's always a nice touch.

Elle fumbling with her Slurpee was funny.

lol Yeah, and awkwardly trying to put the key in the ignition with the other hand...

Posted by Fabrux (Member # 71) on :

Why didn't she just leave the key in the ignition? If I'm sitting somewhere, watching someone/something in my car, the key stays in the ignition.

Also, I seem to remember seeing Matt in the trailer for next week, so maybe it was a random babysitter chick that doesn't know Sylar and Matt was elsewhere...?

Posted by HopefulNebula (Member # 1933) on :

That's what I was thinking. Matt wouldn't let Sylar in without a fight, which would wake Molly, and there wasn't any sign of struggle. Plus, Matt's supposed to be off hunting Victoria Pratt.

And they wouldn't just kill or dispose of Matt offscreen.

I don't have enough faith in American TV for them to not kill a supporting character off-screen. Although Matt might be considered a major character...I dunno. Less so in this season, IMO. But you're right, Matt was off looking for Pratt, I think.

But what kind of airheaded numbskull of a babysitter would let a stranger she didn't know into the apartment and leave them alone with the child she was hired to care for? Bet they'll never hire *her* again...

Best cliffhanger EVER!?!

WOW! Fantastic episodes!!

I SO want to know what Victoria Pratt, Kaito Nakamura, and the Patrelli's powers are.

I was looking at the photo of 'The Company' - who are the other people... Looks like Devreaux's wife is sitting next to him... unless that is supposed to be a younger "Nana/Nichelle"!?! I wonder if Simone Devreaux had a power - and was Peter - when he 'went' forward in time again - utilising Charles Devreaux's power? He seemed to snatch a piece of paper from the future and bring it back without supposedly leaving the room.

I wonder if Alajendro's power is also a healing power?? Maybe he can come back to life? If Maya can control her own power - then what was Alajendro's power really? It mustn't be just a yin to her yang type power.

Wouldn't bringing Caitlin back from the future risk bringing the virus back in time too? ALSO Peter said it was supposedly released within the 'next 24 hours'.

Reguards Elle and the car keys - she probably had them out cause she went and bought that drink.

We've seen Matt Parkman's powers grow - I wonder how some of the other's powers grow?? What else could Claire do - maybe she can begin to heal others? What about West and Nathan Patrelli - what else can the flying develop into?

Oh and why is Victoria Pratt so annoyed at Angela Patrelli when under severe duress she said to Parkman that she helped to hide Victoria Pratt away?

I think Dev eaux's power was to broadcast dreams, as he spoke to Peter PEtrelli in several of them. I haven't the faintest about AlEjandro's power, I must admit...unless, being twins, it's the exact same power as hers, and they could both activate it and de-activate it and simply didn't realize it. I also wonder if Maya would die too if she didn't stop 'casting' her power (for lack of a better term) - maybe that's how Shanti died?

I'm betting now that DL/Micah are related to the Devauxs, and that in fact Nana was his wife, as you posit.

But no, NOT the best cliffhanger ever. That'd have to be episode 3x21 in B5. IMHO.

So maybe that is what Peter was doing - perhaps - when he was 'sorta' in Future New York? He did turn up with that piece of paper though. Adam said he hadn't left the room, though.

ARE Alajandro and Maya Twins - I didn't think they ever said twins, just Brother and Sister?

In the words of Doc Brown; You're not thinking forth dimensionally!

Andrew: Yeah, they're twins. Their friend who got them across the border into Mexico said as much. And so did that healer woman.

Reverend - that was highly cool. First time I've heard a quote from Back to the Future that actually makes a valid point in conversation [Wink]

IOW if Peter jumped to the future, he could jump back to the instant he left, and wouldn't look like he went anywhere.

Posted by Reverend (Member # 335) on :

I don't think he jumped so much as stretched, as if he wasn't entirely then and there and so never really left the here and now. Yet he did...sorta.
