I'm sure his thetan is singing somewhere out there in the Universe.

I didn't even know he played a Jaffa...I just know him as Chef and a disco dude.

He played Gerak, leader of the Free Jaffa Nation turned Prior.

They didn't even mention he was a scietoligist. Surprising (or rather, maybe a good thing)...

i wonder how the South Park guys will honor his passing?

S-c-i-e-n-t-o-l-o-g-i-s-t.

I bet they won't. They wouldn't have anything good to say about him and people would just think it was mean and petty, even for them.

Wow, didn't you even pay attention to the last episode that had Chef in it? They weren't mad at him, they were mad "at that fruity little club for scrambling his brains."

A couple other articles had mentioned his Scientologicalification, and his leaving South Park because of it. How was Chef's character handled after he left, anyway? I don't watch regularly anymore.

Incidentally, Bernie Mac also passed away. Not a Jaffa, but he managed to sell Bumblebee...

From the article I read, I believe the South Park creators had his character killed, or at least gave you the impression that he was killed.

Now they have to find someone else to sell the Constructicons for the next movie.

MinutiaeMan: Yeah, that's what they said, but they still had him shot, eaten by mountain lions, soiling himself, etc etc. And yeah that was because the fruity little club did it to him when he decided to leave (re: what's her name who left in the 70s or 80s and was found dead and roach-nibbled) but still, doing that kind of thing to his character seems to be a rather obvious "fuck you" to me.

They had his character join a club which brainwashed people into molesting children. His character spoke in cut-up dialogue from older episodes with him in it, and when he tried to leave, the was killed horribly, but at the end he was resurrected in a Darth Vader type costume as sort of a Sith lord of child rape.
