Yes, yes, old news ...

But the third wave of Star Wars legos is ... ::stumbles over forgotten thread:: OW! Anyway, with the third wave of SW legos en-route, I'm just getting so dammed excited!

I wish these things had come out when I was a kid ...

Ah well. What's wrong with a 22-year old college student buying legos?

Anyone else love the SW sets as much as I? Anyone? Hello?

I have lots of Star Wars Legos... however, I was making Millenium Falcons and X-wings and TIE fighters long before there were commercial sets for them...

I can laugh at more of you. I have extra coolness points, attained through the joint powers of moderatorism, and living at the bottom of Penny Lane. Plus, I have Super Fire Convoy AND God Convoy. Nyah.

I do have to admit though, that deluxe LEGO TIE Fighter looks pretty gorgeous.

grrr...

Trek is getting screwed over in Legos, just like they were in Micro Machines...

TREK legos would be cool ... I knew someone who wanted to build a "Defiant" model (scale to the minifig) out of Lego bricks ...

well, it appears as if my idea of creating a scale defiant as been resurrected. damn you jeff. oh well, i might as well redesign the bridge, now that i have some newer pieces that will make it that much cooler. i just got all the new star wars lego sets today, and while i was building the droid escape set, it dawned on me that this sets has some great pieces to help make turbolifts. my arctic sets will also provide for some good walls and hull windows as well. Lego has made some great pieces lately that will vastly improve what my defiant will eventually turn out to be. if yall were wondering, and if i remember correctly, the model would be one of a rather grand scale and take many many years to complete, not to mention several thousand dollars. this is because in the end it would be about 16 feet long and 12 feet wide, not to mention a few feet high. you're probably thinking that i'm insane, but hey, we all need a hobby don't we?

Sorry, Vod, somebody had too

Not to mention, you're going to need a dammed big room to display the thing in!

I love legos! And I always will. I think the Star Wars sets were very well done too. One reason for this is because I managed to get the Mos Espa Podrace set, a set that normally goes for $90 dollars, for $34.50 You see, with me, the cheaper the lego set, the more I like it. As for Galoob, or Hasbro, or whoever made those Star Trek micromachines, I have a message. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BRING THEM BACK PLEASE!!!! I'M BEGGING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! BRING THEM BACK!!!!!!
Your probably ticked at me for renewing such an old thread aren't you???

Woohoo!

Anyone see those Episode II sets? Grabbed 'em all.

Tatooine, with Anakin's speeder, a water-tower thingy, and two Tusken Raiders.

Final duel, with Dooku, a speeder, and ... YODA!

Coruscant Chase, with Zam's speeder, and Anakin and Obi-Wan's "borrowed" speeder.

Jedi Fighter, with Obi-Wan ... no "hyperdrive" ring, though. [Frown]

A new Slave 1 -- much larger then the original release, with Jango and Boba. Pop out compartments with missiles and rockets ... oy! [Smile]

Drop ship, complete with two Battle Droids, a random Jedi Knight, and four (FOUR!) Clone Troopers!!!

I can't wait to see next year's releases!

Yes. Good for you. More Legos came out, I used this thread instead of creating a new one.

Besides, my post that you're satirizing was in the "dude, it's ONLY a month old", while yours is like "?!?!?!"

Yeaaah.

Yeah yeah. Lighten up already.

I got the special big honkin' Yoda figure [Smile]

My clone drop ships will overwhelm your little Yoda! My Clone Yodas and Dookus and Anakins and Obi-Wans and Chewies (I've got like ten Chewies ...) will destroy your puny Lego army!

Posted by Cartman (Member # 256) on :

Little? Judge him by his size do you? Just for that, my fleet of TIE Fighters and garrison of AT-AT walkers will crushify your pathetic band of clones!

(Ten Chewies?!)

Posted by Snay (Member # 411) on :

Ten Chewbaccas. I don't even know where they all came from ... I guess I bought more AT-STs then I thought (and I did get two Millennium Falcons ...)

Oh, well.

I've also got a bunch of Jedi Knight Lukes, and an army of Imperial officers and stormtroopers. It's actually kind o' ridiculous! [Big Grin]

Uh-huh. I dig the vehicles more than the characters... more parts to mess around with [Razz]

I like the Stormtroopers. I need more. And most of the stuff doesn't wind up staying intact for a long while, y'know?
