In twenty minutes, I'll be leaving my house. I'll go get gas, go to Office Depot, church service, then I get on the interstate and go to my new apartment. I have a summer internship with NTA in Huntsville. They're an engineering company that does work simulating and analyzing rocket flights, or such is my understanding. I just got offered the job a week or so ago, and it starts tomorrow! How's that for short notice. But it's the perfect job, and an apartment in the perfect place and a really good price showed up. It all worked out. The only real flaw is the lack of internet access. There's a public library about ten minutes away, and I'll be home most weekends, so I won't be totally cut off, but I don't know how much I'll be around this summer. I'll keep y'all informed, at least as best I can with the security clearance and all. This'll be interesting. :-)
Hope everyone has a good summer!

Have you moved into the new apartment, or is that what you're doing now? Anyway, congrats.

The perfect job involves the Star Trek art department, horny strippers, a high salary and freshly brewed iced tea on tap.
Success in your job anyway!

Even though I am going to be unemployed as of the 27th, I would like to wish you well done. I can't, because I hate all working people. But I wish that I could.

Jason, if you find that position can I be your apprentice?

Absolutely: although I know three strippers, have a iced tea brewer in my apartment and could go back to working in an art department, the chances of it being Trek related are nil just now.
Plus, if you're my aprentice, you must wear a black hood and I get to either call you 'Padawan" or you have to wear that little braid in your hair.
No yellow contact lenses though- that's just creepy.

I prefer 'wench' to padawan...but I can adapt.
