Here's that starship design we saw a peek of earlier, approaching that blowed up space station:

And a short video with tons more of Eaves' designs. Who knows how much will make it into the actual game:

That ship looks like it has its tail tucked between its legs. From the text: Commander Locarno?!?
As for the vid, some very interesting and different designs in there. But I still don't like Eaves' tendency to make everything pointy.

Hmm, the video's 50mbs, but if the images are the same ones as on here, then they're not bad.
The ship in the pic you linked to is fugly, though some of the others are okay. Maybe a little too chunky, but they're at least experimenting with new shapes.
Having said that, this one looks like the front end and engineering section of a Sovereign and the engines of a Klingon Raptor. Rather pointy. Eaves, you say?

Saw his Doomsday Machine drawing. Looks cool. Should make for interesting mission in game. I think that ship from Mark's post looks interesting, not to far from some mods I've seen for bridge commander.

Yeah, that link has most of the designs from the video.

That's always been Eaves's problem: His ship designs all look the same, whether they're supposed to be from different races or political entities, or even different time periods. Case in point: His concept sketches for the new Enterprise in ENT all looked like Sovereign-class ships, never mind that the show was supposed to take place in the 22nd century.
Hopefully however, his designs in the new movie will make more sense, as he's supposed to be designing ships for the late 24th/early 25th century. Surely his Enterprise-F will turn heads.

Has there really been an official statement that the Enterprise-F will be in STXI?

Yes. John Eaves is designing it, and from what I hear, it's supposed to look like a Dominion battlecruiser.
No, I'm just being an asshole & pulling everyone's chain. But if this were the TrekBBS, there'd already be fifteen thread titles about my statement, calling me a "high-up, trusted source of information."
Or will the Enterprise-F really appear in the film?...

I think we got confused here, maybe, near the end. This is for the MMO, not the movie. Or is he working on both?

We never get confused Sol, off track, waylaid, baffled, dumbfounded, and all the rest, but never confused.
I kind of like the shortened Voyager in Mark's first link.

Eaves is working on both the video game and the new movie. What he's designing, I don't know.
