Seems rather convienient...unless they had their Earth history books and chronometers set to the right date to know that they would be fast enough to actually get out of the system unchallenged...either way, it seems rather silly that all of the [i]convienent[/i] threads they pull to make it the [i]Enterprise[/i] saves the day scenario...
