Huh? Naval Air Station North Island (spent some time there), Naval Air Station Pensacola, etc etc

I'm slightly annoyed at Hobbes' rather rude decision to be much more attractive than me though. That's just rude. - PsyLiam, Oct 27, 2005.

I assumed that was his point—that they could have come up with real names, rather than just the name of the location it was in.

Still better than our fictitious starbases... Starbase 247, Starbase 325, Starbase 11, etc. Then you have Spacedock, which is more of a drydock than the drydock we saw in TMP, which is really more of a spacedock.

TSN is right, like renaming NAS North Island to NAS McCampbell, in honor of Naval Aviator David McCampbell, especially since he won the Medal of Honor.

Of course he does. He's a Shadow, after all. Going dormant for long periods of time between fostering chaos amongst the younger species is what he's all about.

After this my guess is that you will never hear from him again. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist. And like that... he is gone.

What's to meditate? He was always one of those who quite sensibly insisted it was 120m.
