They seem worried about te destruction of the environment... but doesn't blowing it up constitute destruction?
I'm sure that it makes all the cannoneers out there feel better.

The need a cluster bomb that sprays lyme to rapidly decompose all the bodies. Maybe a special unit that maintains a flock of trained vultures- they could even put a camera on their legs for aireal recon.
