At this point, I just hope DS9 isn't destroyed and Sisko doesn't join the prophets because so many people have already predicted both. On the other hand, seeing the Defiant destoyed is the sort of cool, unexpected twist of events I'm looking for.

I'd like to see the Defiant destroyed, after all it's a warship. But I don't like the way starships and characters are "accidentally" killed off in Star Trek (Tasha, Enterprise-D, Dax). This time it just has to be in a fierce fight and for a good purpose, maybe against a huge Dominion battleship. I don't want to see DS9 destroyed, and I can't reproduce the alleged reasons for it (was something like not to make possible a sequel). Sisko joining the Prophets? I'm not sure if it's that what he wants.

Regarding DS9 destroyed : Er no. Both Rick Berman & Ira Steven Behr have stated that DS9 will not be destroyed.
