This subject has had me wondering for a long time. Just what species are
1) Raemus and the hooker from 'Honour Amongst Thieves'? 2) Graython Tolar in 'In the Pale Moonlight' and a similar alien seen in 'Behind the Lines', when Kira and Rom are walking down the hallway to "Area 51". ?
I'm presuming that Raemus and the hooker were natives of Farious, and if their species has yet to be named, I hereby nominate them to be henceforth deemed "The Fairies".

I always thought Tolar had interesting make-up; they should use that race again somehow...

I'd like to know the name of the race that has holes in their head. they look like small craters. one was a terrorist in TNG 'Starship Mine' and another was Kivas Fajo's rival collector in "The Most Toys"
Funny thing about the actor who plays Kivas Fajo, he was in an episode of the Practice, defending the guy who played the Bajoran General in DS9's season 2 Bajoran Three Parter.
Actually, both Ally McBeal and The Practice seem to be fond of hiring actors that have been previously involved with Trek.
John De Lancie, I have seen both in Ally and The Practice The woman who played Anij in Insurrection was in the Ally/The Practice crossover The two I mentioned above. Robert Picardo was in a season 2 Ally (he was defending the his divorce with his wife) The woman who played The Romulan Senator Creetak was the wife of Anderson Pearson in The Practice (That was a fantastic storyline)
can anyone think of any others - I haven't seen ALL of the Practice and have missed a few Ally McBeal episodes.

I knew I'd heard Cretak's voice somewhere before. You're absolutely right, Andrew, she had grey hair, IIRC. Now I can die happy.
Other Trek actors that have appeared on Ally or Practise:
The Professor in 'Little Green Men' played a lawyer in Ally once.
Captain Maxwell from 'The Wounded' played a rich guy whose poorer friend wanted to give him his heart in Ally.
Can't think of any others at the moment.

I can't believe you guys discovered so many Trek people in Ally/Practice and missed Armin Shimmerman/Quark who is a JUDGE in The Practice! For at least two ep's! Somehow he looks more serious without the ears and eyeliner.

Oh yes, start watching the Practice, it is a most amazing show... the stories the twists, the drama, the emotion! - It seriously can leave you drained sometimes.
I haven't seen ALL the Practice episodes, I came in at the Ally/The Practive crossover... and am just starting to catch up on some of the earlier episode. So I have missed Armin Shimmerman's appearance!
I know its not Trek, but that Annoying General Lefcourt from B5 - was in Ally for one episode - actually he has been in Trek - he was in 'Counterpoint' VGR - so yep, chalk that down as another Trek appearance.

Unfortunately, ITV show The Practice here in the UK, and they Milleniumed it. That is to say, start showing it at a time when all their target audience have tired of endless game shows and sitcoms and have gone to bed. Then, they wondered why it wasn't a hit, and buried it further and further into the night.
I mean, I haven't even seen that many eps of Millenium. I kept forgeting when it was on, and now (I think) they're repeating eps from the first season. . .

They did something similar to Brimstone (May It Rest in Peace) and Earth:Final Conflict and the Outer Limits. But Seeing as how our national broadcaster has virtually a national monopoly on what we see and hear (an independent station only started up last year), so they couldn't give a monkey's about those that don't have videos or insomnia.
AND they stopped showing DS9 after 'Invasive Procedures' five years ago, and I'm still bitter!
"Fairies" accepted then, BTW?

General Lefcourt from b5 (I don't know want his really name is) no he was in a 2 parter in DS9, he was the general in "Homefront" I think (the one where earth was nearly taken over by a rogue Admiral, well he was the rogue Admiral [was Sisko's former commanding officer].
