Anybody else been watching the new Cosmos? I have, and I gotta say I've been enjoying it.

(And yes, I am aware Brannon Braga is one of the minds behind it. I give the man his due.)

As someone not normally captivated (thanks to educational baggage) by mass-audience popsci, so have I.

The narration (dialog) can sometimes be a bit... Druyanesque and imo the cartoon sequences don't always work, but Tyson is more energetic than Sagan and almost as good a communicator.

I enjoy the show, although do find it a tad simplistic. More amusing than the show, however, is the backlash reviews every week from the Creationist nutjobs. [Big Grin]
