Looks more post TNG to me. It needs to be less of a pre Galaxy and more of a post Excelsior.

It looks like both Pre- and Post-TNG to me. It could be an experimental testbed prototype for technologies that took Starfleet engineers a few decades to perfect.

On one hand, it looks like the ship belongs to the Ambassador Class family... on the other it looks like it belongs to the Galaxy Class family... seems that this ship can go either way to me.

I like everything about the design except the Bussard Collectors. I don't like the bottom angling up like that for some reason. Or, if the bottom's going to angle up, the top should angle down at the same degree.
I would also outline the Collector, the Impulse Engine and the Shuttle Bay with the same stroke as you've outlined all the other structural details with. I know you're trying to make the red parts look transluscent, but with all the thick lines, it sort of looks like you forgot to outline those things. If you're trying to make those parts look glassy, maybe try adding a hot spot reflection or something.
Other than that, I think the design really rocks. I like the windows

Um, what did you update? And god fuck damnit that's a nice ship, finally a real heavy duty ship to put between the Excelsior and the Sovereign. What color is the deflector dish?

I love it when people blindly follow my advice.
BWAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
No, it looks good. I like the Bussards better now. I wonder though...I liked the "top half only" thing you had going with the yellow are right behind the Bussards. What would happen if you did that with this nacelle design? Just have the yellow circle dealies on the top half instead of all the way around.
