First of, I'd like to start this thread by saying:
The Saint John Flames won the Calder Cup!
I know this means nothing to you people, seeing as where I'm the only one here from the Saint John area, but hell, I get my 15 seconds of fame!
Oh, and, if you haven't figured it out, the Flames are our AHL team.
Coming home from the Imperial Theatre at 11:00 was rather interesting. Heavy traffic and extreme honking. I, of course, just had to honk, too
I was supposed to exchange some items with my friend after our performance (mainly parts of a costume and a tent), but he left right after we were done. Fortunately I had the cellphone in the car so I gave him a ring. He was home, so I headed over to his place. I'm not used to driving on Douglas Ave. at night, so I drove right by his place, even though him and his dad were standing at the end of the driveway. had they not been there, I probably would have kept on going until I reached my school, then I would have turned around and went back
So then I headed out the other end of Douglas Ave to continue on my merry way home. Thing is, the Reversing Falls bridge is down to one lane due to annual construction, so I was stufck in a jam (extreme traffic from the hockey game above, remember?) More honking and such ensued. I eventually made it out, and got onto the highway.
Now, I should mention that there's something wrong with the car, and it was clunking a lot on the way home, mostly during hard turns and takeoffs from a standstill.
As I was on the highway, it became very foggy and I couldn't see very far in front of me. Plus, there was some lightening. As such, I didn't notice that racoon until too late.
Now, don't panic! Unlike certain forumgoers (*cough*JeffKardde*cough*) who go and kill poor, defenseless animals with their cars, this racoon was already roadkill. Phased me a but, nonetheless.
I made it home safe and sound, but not before the car gave a final resounding clunk as I put it in park in the garage. But, I made it home!
And now here it is, 11:43 PM, and I've wasted about 5 minutes of your time. And you'll never get it back, because it's all mine, bwahahahahaha!

I'll be taking my five minutes back, thank you very much!

I sure as hell hope your Jeep doesn't have a mass of 30 000 lbs. The new Cadillac Escalade EXT (a huge truck) is only 3 tons...

Now, it's pretty well known that the US is one of the worst countries in the world regarding obesity.
So I do not react with suprise upon finding out that Jeff weighs 26,000 to 26,500 lbs. I would recommend the occasional walk. Not near people though, because you might trip and crush several dozen people beneath your massive frame.
-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

The AHL eh? Is that the team the Indianapolis Ice play for, or is that the IHL?
I think the Chicago Wolves play for the IHL as well.
