Well, do you know?
For the last 2 months, I have been getting strange auth requests via from this person without getting a heads up on who he/she is. This person claims to know me and keeps sending me an auth and some message written in Swedish. I have no idea, but I'm getting to the end of my rope. Has anyone received any similar auth requests as well?
Now while I have not put the Ignore function on this person, I will unless he/she tells me who he/she/whatever really is. That is, the next time this person comes calling.

This sounds *very* corny
I have no idea who said person is, but since he/she claims to know you I suggest you ask him/her some questions... OTOH, you say you haven't gotten a heads-up, which makes me suspicious about his claims.
Your ICQ number is listed in your profile, so perhaps the person is a forum lurker who collects as much personal info as possible.
BTW: ICQ comes with a set of options which provide some protection from these idiots. Look under the Security tab... you'll be surprised by the default settings. I recommend you change them ASAP.

Tahna, I don't know what to say. That was turkish, Deniz is turkish, man. I don't know what he wants with you via ICQ, you've got as much a chance of translating as me, with an online dictionary, perhaps? "Kontak Listeme" is probably contact list, so it seems to be related with ICQ communication issues.
Anyone on flare from turkey or fluent in turkish?
