Well, there is that. The whole conspiracy aspect is usually dependeant on the event having taken place a long time ago and facts having become less clear (or events not easily reproduced). Theres already some nuts saying the world trade centers were destroyed by explosives planted by the US government (like that would go unnoticed) and that terrorists were not involved...

The planes were CGIed in to the videos, while the populace that thought they had seen the planes were given drugs and hypnotized in to believing that they had seen it.
Also, no one was really killed in the towers, all people were whisked away to government labs to use as lab rats.
