Senility Rant: Stories of absent-mindedness
Hey, this is personally depressing, but I've a few "funny" stories about being senile. Yes that's right, I have no short term memory. *LOL*
Senility story 1:
My friend Brian wanted me to print out a webpage on recycling schedules for a suburb of my city, Vancouver. Only problem is, my mom's using my printer. So I have to copy the file.......heheheh. I saved the HTML file to a disk, and printed it on her computer. Imagine my surprise! There were no images on the piece of paper that emerged from the printer! *LMAO* (DUH.) I forgot to copy the images, too. :P
Senility story 2:
I was preparing to leave for Vancouver in the car with my dad. Before we got in the car, I was told to drive left along the highway, not right (the usual way). I started the car, almost instantly forgetting my dad's instructions, because I have no short term memory, and backed out of the parking stall as if I was about to turn right. My dad stopped me, and asked me what the hell I was doing....*LOL* It took me TWO TRIES to REMEMBER to drive left!!!!! ARGH.
Add your own Senility Story if you wish, comment, Or tell me that I've "wore out my welcome" posting my own topic threads.....*shrug*
