All this Mirror Universe talk has got me thinking about this old question I used to ask. And the rules are that it has to have been split off from some episode in any one of the series, viz, it has to have diverged from the real Trek in something we would have seen.
My favorites? Glad you asked, I'm a sucker for What If stories anyway.
The reality where the Federation doesn't get DS9 back at the end of "The Circle".
The reality where Kirk doesn't prevent the assination of Gorkon's daughter.
The one where Jennifer Sisko is not killed at Wolf 359 but Jake Sisko is.
Just a couple. I used to have more, you know.

Well, some of the later universes Worf visited in "Parallels" would be interesting. . . the one where the Bajorans are the baddies is one, similar to the DS9 version of the Mirror Universe (or MU2 as I call it) - but with one significant difference: the Cardassians are members of the Federation. Plus, of course, the Riker Bad Hair Day Universe. . . 8)

Ooh, good answer, Krenim. I'll go with the Year of Hell, too.
------------------ Elim Garak: "Oh, it's just Garak. Plain, simple Garak. Now, good day to you, Doctor. I'm so glad to have made such an... interesting new friend today." (DS9: "Past Prologue")
Or better, one in which the pace of space exploration stayed at its 1960's-early 70's level, and we were on Mars by 1983 and Europa and Titan by 1997.
Will "Badhair" Riker's Universe.
