WHat do you think that the new series may be about. I know what the basic outline of it is professionaly. Lets hear what you think it should be about.

Yep there sure are a ton
1. Section 31 meets Mission:Impossible 2. USS Excellent 3. Starfleet academy + Dawson's Creek 4. Star Trek meets X-Files 5. Even a "JMS will take over ST and make it good" theory

Funny thing. When Lee's not around, nobody points out when things are in the wrong forum...
Data2000, when you make a new topic, you should think about what forum it belongs in. A topic on the next series or movie probably belongs under General Discussion, not Voyager (unless you have some idea or question involving both, in which case it could go either way). There really should be a Forum FAQ telling you newbies all these things (I THINK someone was working on something like that, hint hint), so don't worry about it this time. If someone with the authority would be so kind as to move this thread to its proper location...

Berman and Braga keep saying that the new series will air around the end of 2001. Truth is that they don't have a deal for a new series, or a new movie.

Maybe they need to go back to what made Star Trek good. An exploration series. You can change a lot with the crew (more females, alien as captian), they could have the problem of a galaxy rebuilding itself after the Dominion war. What about NOT putting them on the most advanced starship in the Federation, but an average one. This may work. Or it may just flop.

Why? People said they wanted it moved, so I moved it. In the old one, it says right up at the top "This thread has been moved to General Discussion". How hard is that to understand?
