This is my second attempt to do a Cruiser bridge, getting rid of all the roundness. I tried to unclutter and reduce the size of the Sovereign bridge we see on the E-E, with the floor-ceiling arches and newer style consoles (with multiple smaller LCARS displays instead of one big one).
Inspired by Prakesh's "Command Bridge", I set to do something similar, but for fleet command only. I envision this as a replacement Battle Bridge from which an Admiral could command the fleet. This would be used as a bridge in Separated Flight Mode, as in that eventuality the odds are that the ship wouldn't be used as a flagship.

They're both sweet... I'll have to take a go at them...

What font do you use for labelling these, Mark? It'd be nice to keep it all the same...

Huh? I use arial font for everything, just different sizes - 5 or 6 pt. for the small labels, and 8 pt. for the descriptive stuff across the top.

Holy sh*t, Fabrux, I'll leave the redrawing to you in this case.
Mark, I really like your cruiser2 bridge. It is a very logical leap from the sovereign-type. I envisioned something similar, but it was much more complicated and thus harder to draw. if i ever get around to it I'll have to scan my drawings and swap ideas with you.
Now about that command bridge.... Odd! that's about all i can say. That isn't a bad thing, really, I suspect that the bridge is very functionable, but it is laid-out most peculiar.

The problem with using the Cruiser-2 layout with the Cheyenne class is that the Cheyenne uses at least the shell of a Galaxy-class bridge superstructure. That is, turbos are both on the port side, with a forward (square) turbo to stbd...

Of course - but by that logic, the E-A bridge wouldn't fit in the shell of the original model either. Or the second E-D battle bridge, for that matter. And the E-E bridge should have an airlock and ready room sticking out of the housing. Etc., etc... I gave up on trying to rationalize bridges wit their external shapes ages ago.

No, not the ready room or the bridge airlock. If you follow the Obs lounge windows and the set size, both rooms would be sticking out over Deck 2. The actual bridge module on the model is very long and thin, wheras the bridge set is much wider than it is long.
