If you liked this show as a kid (as I did) and want to see it return (as I do), pledge your support, because the projected revival has hit rocky ground and is in danger of being pulled forever.
Director Brian Singer has gone AWOL to helm X-Men 2, and Fox are pissed off and are no longer willing to back the show. So far 9000 signatures have been collected to urge Fox to change their mind, and word is that Trek veteran Nicholas Meyer may come onboard to direct the pilot. But Fox still aren't happy, but they need to be kicked up the ass. So sign the online petition today and make your voice count!!

I hated the show. The 70's f**ked up idea of a good sci-fi show was enough to make me PUKE!
THE GOLDEN RULE OF SCI-FI: Retro and sci-fi do NOT mix. It doesn't matter what you do. Disco-like colorations and decorations will make your sci-fi show painful to watch. This is a rule BG violated over and over and over again in spades.

No, no, I'm sure this could be a good show. And think of the possibilities should this be successful. I don't want to sound like a crazy person, but if we can get Fox to support this, I think there's a good chance of getting a remake of The Starlost on television. Can you imagine it? We might actually be able to get Harlan Ellison to spontaneously combust.

Yeh alright the 70's show sucked on a number of levels, but the show's premise had tons of potential. And with today's possible budgets and production values I'm sure they could make a successful show - if they had the chance...

Athena: Oh, Starbuck, you're safe! Starbuck: That's right, and now we must rebuild and *cheeky grin* repopulate. . . *70's funkly porn music starts* Apollo: Not so fast, that's my sister! *blows Starbuck up*

I suppose it depends on exactly how Apollo is blowing Starbuck.

-------------------- Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.
