Overall, a great opening episode for Thirteen. Whittaker does a good job at selling herself as the Doctor, and I really like the new companions.
My only gripes are:
Did not care for the look of the baddie. The armor was great, but the whole teeth-in-face look? Meh. Honestly, if the episode didn’t tell me that those were supposed to be teeth, I’d have never guessed.
Thirteen’s speech to the baddie about change while remaining true to what came before? A little too on the nose.
No opening credits? No theme music? Epic fail, episode. Epic fail.
