I just wonder if blasters can be silenced, like some guns today. i remember from a book that someone got shot with a special blaster that had no sound or light. someone please elaborate!

Well, I'm not sure about balsters, having never encountered such a thing, but there was a stealth blaster in the Hand of Thrawn duology. In which case, I think you already answered your own question, no?

jeez. is all you people do is nitpick? i wasn't looking at this computer when i typed this. i was working on the laptop. and other than the special blasters, can any blaster have a device of some sort attached to them to make them quieter?
