Just in from CNN.....
I didn't catch the where, low volume, but the screen had the following....
79% of the overseas people think we (Americans) are rude
61% of the overseas people think we are getting worse
Although 69% of the overseas people say we are treating our African-American and Homosexual population better......

Gee, it seems we scored pretty low.....

Of course, since it was on CNN it will be back on in half an hour.....

Oh, my. Europeans think we're rude. According to CNN, no less. My world is shattered.

Yeah, in my European adventures I found the French, quiet, mmmm, yes, snooty. While the Condom Queen in Birkenhead(sp?), nea Liverpool, was the most interesting.....

All the french I have met seemed like very nice people, and I have spent months at a time with them. My one trip to Paris was very pleasant everyone I met was very friendly and helpful. I guess the attitude you receive depends on the attitude you send out to people.

Well, I set out all the wrong signals at the time, being a drunk I wasn't the most interesting person you would have wanted to come across. I did my part to help get that rudeness rating.....
