Hi.

Just wanted to pop by and see what's been going on. And if you don't know me, I used to be an old poster here by the RL name of Jordan. :-) And those of you who DO remember me, i'm baaaaack!

So, what all have I missed, eh?

Well, welcome back, Jordan. I remember being a little concerned over the nature of your final post. I trust things are all going well for you?

Thanks. And I don't remember what I was going thru in my life the last time I posted here. Not that it matters much now, it's all behind me. Now for all the stuff that's in front of me, well, that's a whole different kind of animal.

Hello! It'll be fun to watch as you grow up and mature into seniorness.
Look out around the time of being plain "member", though. All the new hormones might get the best of you.

I think i'm already there...well, not by the number of posts i've posted, obviously. By the way, i'm a HUGE Dune fan.

Yes, I kinda sensed that in the other thread. We need more of that here!

The upcoming PC-game "DUNE: Emperor" could be good. Maybe I'll start a thread when it's gone gold.

Well, thanks to all who are glad i'm back. Truth be told, Charles convinced me to do it. *hee* So if I screw up - BLAME the Mullah of Cappistan! *L* (I NAMED him that, BTW)

As for where i've been, well to break it all down succinctly - Got sick, got better, moved to a new house, did a bit of traveling (Has some more to do BTW), met some other people, fought with J&S a lot (long story), did some writing, did some acting, started a rocketry group, did some more traveling, screwed up my personal life a bit and decided finally it be HIGH time to come out of the shadows again - so to speak.

Any questions?

Quatre.

See! You're already Junior! It all passes too fast...*sob*

You know I only meant your statusline. 'Tis like starting a fresh new game of Diablo or Tie Fighter and paving your way through the early ranks. Feels good.

Yeah, I know how that goes. I've got the original 3.5" floppy versions of X-Wing and Tie Fighter, but neither will run. Guess those boys at MS were right. "Ah, we don't need to have DOS support. No one plays those old games, anyway." Well, maybe that's 'cause WE CAN'T!

Ah, well. There's always the collectors edition pack, or the Trilogy...

Hi, no clue who you were/are around here, but then no one here has any clue of me either (except Kosh who's not a frequent poster).

Small pointless tidbit- I used to live in P-Cola. Only a year though, still have a good friend I talk with who grew up there.

I liked Tie Fighter as well, but it gets a bit ridiculous when you can fly an A-wing into battle against 50 Tie Advanced and come out without a scratch. Try X-Wing Vs. Tie Fighter for some real challenge.

The newer "X-Wing - Alliance" is better. Aand much more beautiful! To fly the new YT-2000 is truly a treat!

I'm real tired of them LucasArts-sellouts, though. First they scrap "Episode I: Obi-Wan", then they totally ignore "Star Wars Starfighter" for the PC. It's all PS2 nowadays for them. Grrr...

Hang on, how can you fly an A-Wing against 50 TIE Advanced on TIE Fighter. Unless I'm drasctically mis-remembering one of my favourite games of all time, you flew baddie ships in TIE Fighter. And the baddies didn't tend to have A-Wings.

For real. And A-wings are difficult to kill unless you get right up on em' and nail them almost point blank.

At least that's how I do it.

Yes. On the other hand, it will presumably be copies of X-Wing and TIE Fighter that will actually run on my current computer, which will be worth the price, I think.
