Thank the Prophets for eBay, otherwise i never wouldve gotten to test how many stores will refuse you service on the basis of the fact you are a clone of Jango Fett!
Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :
Jango was obviously mugged and had his armor stolen.

Nice garbage can.
Posted by EdipisReks (Member # 510) on :
how many stores did refuse you, Captain Mike?
Posted by Capped In Mic (Member # 709) on :
approximately 50%
Spike's (where I work) knew it was me somehow, even though i was wearing a mask
Store24 (where I'm in front of) counts as a refusal because they had to consult a manager before selling me a bottle of water. I mean how hard is it to put together when you see a Clone Trooper with a Poland Spring in one hand and a dollar in the other?
Johnny Rockets just asked me to leave when i walked in (this is also because they knew it was me)
Estas bike shop likewise, again because i was recognized and the owner was there (otherwise thats where i hideout cuz my friend works there)
Army Navy sold me a camouflage t-shirt, no questions asked.

Jesus seems to be on that garbage can.
It truly is a miracle.
Also, you nearly have pipes, as it were.
Posted by Capped In Mic (Member # 709) on :
actually that spray-paint stenciled Osama bin Laden that says 'SSH! I'm hiding in here' under.. its one of the damn funnier things ive seen on that garbage can, and its been there over a year now.
the rest of the graffiti is pretty clever, if incredibly shocking
(BTW.. pipes?)

This is funny.

Good news. After seeing this, I'm now not going to take any pictures of myself with my Art Asylum phase pistol. A lucky escape for you all.

What I find odd is that you seem to mostly be refused service based on the fact that you're recognized... not because you're wearing a mask (though friends of mine were told they couldn't come in a Meijer unless they took off their Halloween masks...in their case, Darth VAder and Boba Fett). Why are you persona non gratta in so many stores, Mike?
And what kin dof pants are you wearing in this picture? They look like Sith pants or something... black with red seams? Are those Darth Maul Karate Pants (R)?
Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :
They remind me of the huge baggy pants MC Hammer used to wear. Imagines of Jango Mike dancing to "Can't Touch This" are replacing the information in my head that I need for my exams.
Posted by TSN (Member # 31) on :
Look like raver pants to me...
Posted by EdipisReks (Member # 510) on :
ravers have their own pants now? who-da thunkit.
Posted by Capped In Mic (Member # 709) on :
yes.. they are commonly worn by me as a modification of a Star Trek uniform at concerts.

I'm still not ready to take Project V to the final stage. And I have a few better test subjects anyway.
Its a very delicate experiment.

I don't know man... that Mr. Bubble shirt is kind of hot...
Plus, she's already got a condom stretched over her elbow. But she left the tag on... shoot.
Posted by E. Cartman (Member # 256) on :
So, what, you pick your test subjects based on their combat prowess in a lightsabre duel?
Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :
Choosing a mate via combat? Works for the Klingons...
Posted by MaGiC (Member # 59) on :
...works for a whole lot of people ;-)

Well, I guess that's better than asking your sisters if they know anyone.
Posted by Siegfried (Member # 29) on :
I feel no shame in having asked my sister a couple times to hook me up with one of her friends.
Posted by Ritten (Member # 417) on :
No, but if you had just asked you sister.... Well, that is another matter entirely...

When the fuck did Pepsi start becoming a collectors item? Did they put crack in it?
Does it taste better as it ages?
How much does New Coke go for? I've got a mint case of that in the basement. Am I rich enough to buy a mail order bride because of it?
Posted by CaptainMike XXIII (Member # 709) on :
About $173.28, plus the value of the case....
Posted by First of Two (Member # 16) on :
What'd you pay for the FASA manuals?
I'm just curious. I have a bunch of FASA stuff I don't use much anymore and I'm wondering what it'd go for.
Posted by CaptainMike XXIII (Member # 709) on :
i paid very little actually... 4.50 pounds (translating to about 7 bucks american) for five FASA books.. however, all the books were ratty, and smell of Britain (I'm assuming.. they smell funny and were sent from the UK). most are written in and have the covers detached
whenever i searched for just the Fed manual by itself, i always got these ridiculous bidding wars (up to $20-$30 for the one book), but auctions of lots often have it included, and are overlooked. auctions in foreign funds are often overlooked as well.
BTW, the C.P. bottle ended at $61.00 (thats four dollars an ounce, street value) .. a little too rich for my blood, i wish id gone and gotten the $30 ones going last year.

I never noticed after having seen that picture of you 'duelling' that all the other people have left quite a sizeable gap around you two I don't blame them!
