Looks like it was the foam insulation after all.

Hope they remember to fix that before they attempt to launch it.

Serves them right for going to a cheaper foam. Cost cutting run amok. Gaaah. [Mad]

Did they learn a lession this time?

Doubt it. [Roll Eyes]

You might also want to bid for the individual plastic urinary receptacles as well. . .

From the title thread and subsequent phrase leading to the article, I thought some drug cartel 'capo' died in a plane with the same insulation that the former shuttlecraft Columbia used... what a disappointment.

Glueing paper probably doesn't much have to do with spelling.

I wish more shuttles were named after crime-infested Third World countries...

Actually, I think the shuttle was Columbia and the country is Colombia...

Well DONE, 007! You've succeeded in noticing the obvious fact which we all somehow missed! Take the week off utnil we call you & interrupt your plans with Sylvia Trench once again.

In 2000, the shuttle Atlantis OV-104 suffered a hull breach upon re-entry. She survived. Her sister ship wasn't as lucky.

We need a little book of newarkisms. You could buy it at the checkout of the supermarket. It would be like Soap Opera Digest. Mr. Okuda would be in it.

So sorry to have disappointed you. The thread title is merely a demonstration for the newbies on why it is important to check the spelling in your posts and especially your thread titles. Honest.
