He's always been a pretty peaceable, tolerant, non-bigoted individual, as far as I've been able to tell. The kind of Christian I don't have anything against. Compared to Falwell, he's... well... a saint.<p>Anyway, they were interviewing an antiterrorist specialist who basically said "You have to kill these guys. You can't reason with them or negotiate with them. People who crash airplanes into buildings on purpose are never going to be reasonable. You have to kill them all."<p>And they asked Schuller, being who he is, what he thought about that. And Schuller said what we're talking about here isn't who has the right to kill, but who has the right to live. He used the example of someone breaking into your house with the intent of killing your wife... you can kill them, in self-defense.<p>And then he said something that really suprised the heck out of me.
