[ i wasn't sure where to post this, so i though General Trek wouldn't be such a bad idea]Well i was wondering whether the quote on a plaque (that i've seen)for the USS Relativity ( "The only reason for time is to stop everything happening at once" - E. M. Rauch) is from a real person, and since i plan to use the quote in a school project, i would like to know if there is any information about E.M. Rauch (if he/she is a real person) cheers, Buzz

Well, I've been around the net a fiew times, ive found a Rauch who designed postmodern firestations, a magazine writer, a Rauch planetariam named after a rabbi.. but none of them have the initials E.M.Im thinking the quote may have been from sometime after 2001? What do our friends at the studio have to say about it

I don't know from Rauch, but the sentiment is rather common.

I did a search using the phrase "EM Rauch". I learned that he is a physicist at the University of Chicago and has written scientific papers on his speciality.
