Can‘t really say that I‘m thrilled about that setting. No judgement, I mean, many of us do. But after all the years of the Berman era where all performers were often excessively svelte (I think during the ENT era a casting directions for background performers came to light, and which insisted on extras with less fat than a butcher’s pencil), it’s striking. I hope it’s not a health problem, obviously. Maybe it’s nothing. I sure hope so, she’s a good actor and plays a good character - and, most commendably for the show, that’s what she was meant to be. It would have been all too easy to have her character be the sex appeal, the new Seven, the new T’Pol.<br /><br />But to go from <a href="https://discovery.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/cast-crew-photos/tilly/s1-tilly-cadet.jpg" target="_blank">this</a> to <a href="https://discovery.trekcore.com/gallery/albums/cast-crew-photos/tilly/s4-tilly-promo2.jpg" target="_blank">this</a>, well, it’s a heck of a transformation, especially in image-conscious Hollywood. That, combined with the notable lack of any other projects that might explain her effectively being written out of season 4… yeah.
