It looks like it has a grid on it. It would make sense that it has a Holodeck seeing as it was on a long term mission and had only a single family aboard. The MSDs of other ships often have these.<P>I agree it would be too early for shipboard holodecks (although I guess planetside holodecks had existed for a long time before Starfleet ships began getting them, and civilian ships would probably get them sooner than Starfleet ones).<P>There's no reason to think it would be too early for a type 6 shuttle, though. We first saw one in action in 2364 ("All Good Things.." flashbacks), but type 7 shuttles were already in operation back then and seemed to feature more advanced or at least more streamlined technology.
