Seems "And to boldly technobabble where no forum has technobabbled before!" is due for a revamp. Especially considering that, save for ENT, all has been said and done already...

The forum is open for suggestions. The email address is open for bribes. Voting is futile. You will be summarily judged.

And just to be sure, "You will be sorry you asked" shalt not be accepted, because that would be MY suggestion, and I'm exempt from the competition.

Of shuttlecraft and starships.

More babel than techno.

It's all been done... let's bash some more.

The never ending search for one more canon ship design in the background.

Say, "Engage," and it works.

If you have to ask, don't post.

Newbies not welcome.

She kanna take n-e more Cappin!

[for sentimental reasons] Beam me up, Scotty!

If it flashes, there must be a reason.

A gizmo for every job, and a job for every gizmo.

We ran out of good ideas, so we decided to put this up.

My last and personal favorite right now:
J is great.

Hey Newbie - don't even think about it.

Does anybody know what this "outside" thing is?

I was rather hoping we wouldn't end up changing this one. Simply because I was the one who came up with the current line.

If you refer to the kitbashed starship, it's Raging Queen...as bad as that sounds.

Posted by Fleet-Admiral Michael T. Colorge (Member # 144) on :

Actually, I was refering to how people dispute the size of some ships like the Defiant. Some want it 170 meters, others want 120 meters.

Posted by Jason Abbadon (Member # 882) on :

Ah.
It still sounds more humorus as
"The only forum where "Raging Queen" takes on a whole new meaning".

And the Defiant is 170 meters long. [Wink]

Funny Jason about the Defiant... and I prefer the size queen joke. Then again, a Raging Queen is often easier to spot in West Hollywood unlike a size queen.

Why is that there?

Why did they do that?

Where the definition of 'canon' includes....well, you get it

Where geeks come to lament continuity.

Sorry, must have totally missed that.

Great minds and all.

The company my father used to work for had two main offices, one in Dorking and one in Salisbury. The people who worked in Dorking were called Dorks. My father was not amused when I pointed out that this word had a more general meaning. Gosh, haven't thought about that for years.
